DIY
Car Track
I started with a piece of chipboard
measuring ¾” x 24” x 48” and a number of paints I keep in stock on a regular
basis as well as the various toy cars we have throughout the house. Now I
didn’t want to build up because we use the board to build puzzles on too, so it was all going to be two-dimensional.
I then used a small ruler and
measured the biggest cars/trucks and used those as my guide for road size. In
my case, it worked out as an even 10cm, so I drew a line 10cm from the outside
of the board and started with that:
Following this, I found various
shapes around the house to use as either outlines for buildings or the curvy
roads.
